Shower?? For me???

So my first bridal shower was last Saturday. Fun! Well...most of it anyway.

My mom and sister pretty much hosted the whole deal, but I helped set up and clean up! Go me. We played a couple games - one being a quiz about Andrew and I that NO ONE - not even his own mother - got more than three right answers on. What's up with that???? No one listens to me around here...sheesh.

I got so many nice gifts, too. My family is HUGE, so even just a "small" bridal shower packed my aunt's house. And - another point for me - I have all the thank you notes written! I rock. lol (And so modest, too....)

We got both of the lamps we registered for, a sheet set, all of our beautiful bathroom towels, quite a few gift cards, a 12 piece cookware set, an iron, a comfy throw blanket, and a partridge in a pear tree! hehehe

Thank goodness my little niece and nephew were there to help me tear open the presents, because it was NERVEWRACKING watching everyone watch ME! lol I'm way too shy sometimes...

The wedding planning is going surprisingly well. I'm SO busy. It's really unbelievable. I wish I could take the next 6 weeks off work - with pay!!! That would be awesome. But I better wake up from THAT dream.
